Although Josh Architects is not an attorney, judge, or trained mediator, it is understood that architects generally have a holistic view of the construction industry and can opine on matters relating to expected standards of care to manage simple disputes between parties. More complex matters will be referred to others. It is agreed that Josh Architects is not liable for harm or other effects caused by the outcome of any decision or lack thereof. Josh Architects can resolve most disputes with 1 hour of reviewing correspondence prior to a mediation and 1 hour of discussion between the parties. The hourly rate for dispute resolution is $350. This fee will be billed to the party making the request, and generally the outcome of any dispute will result in a fraction of fault between parties. We will recommend that a corresponding portion of our fee will be owed to the prevailing party in addition to any other remedies.
